set-up not completed successfully

Hello, I recently purchased an iBook G4 and cannot get my
Microsoft Office 4.2.1 installed. I put the CD in the
computer and click on it and it tells me that set-up was
not completed successfully. Any help you can give me will
be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Meg

Unfortunately, Office 4.2.1 is not compatible with OS 9, which is the OS
that the Classic environment uses. Check out the Microsoft Knowledge Base
for details on compatibility of Office 4.2.1 with OS 9:

If you're running OS X, which I suspect, your best option would be to buy
Office X
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/officex/officex.aspx?pid=officex>.
It is a dramatic improvement over Office 4.2.1.
