Hope you can help, this is really annoying me now.
I am running Office 2007 plus on Win XP SP3.
When I download and install with no problems the Outlook connector 12.1, it
doesn't prompt me to enter my account details the next time I open Outlook.
Everytime I open Outlook it just seems to make the add-in for the connector
inactive. There's no option for Outlook Connector menu which I think there
should be.
I've tried activivating the add-in and setting the account up manually but
when I click "Microsoft Office Outlook Connector" in the Other option, it
just brings up a promt saying "The E-mail Account you have just added will
not start until you choose Exit from the File menu, and then restart Microsft
Office Outlook". I don't get it as I haven't entered any details yet!
When I restart and go back to Email Accounts the connector is listed as an
account. If I click change a prompt says "The requested operation failed".
Please, has anyone any suggestions? I haven't set up any emails account on
the installation of Office.
Thanks in advance.
