set up outlook express

hi,

using Dell win xp sp2 AT&T mail service.

can i set up outlook to show 'contact' links on a page but not be my
'default' mail client? i'd like to just open a 'contact' so-and-so
link on a web-page so i can copy/paste the email address over to my
at&t mail service and send a correspondence from there. sometimes the
'contact' email is shown but sometimes it only comes up from the
'contact' link in outlook exp. guess i'm asking if outlook exp. can be
'partially' installed?.......
