Set Value - Out of String Space error

I was using the Setvalue command in a macro and an error
window popped up saying

"Out of String Space"

This error baffled me since I had used the same command in
very similar forms and it worked. The set command was
using the following item and expression combination.

Item: [Forms]![3PivotTable Form_YTD]![textYr]

Expression:[Forms]![2Main Switchboard]!
[combo_YTD_year_Select]

Can anyboy help me find out what is wrong.
