set visio custom printer paper size

T

I can not get Visio 2003 to accept custom paper sizes set for an HP Designjet
800 42 printer. The custom paper settings on "Page Setup" screen always stay
at the default and never match the print driver settings even when new custom
pages are specifically set in the printer driver. How can this be corrected?
Thanks.

I found a workaround that worked for me.

RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, set the custom page size by using the Printers
icon in Control Panel. If you set the custom page size for your system as a
whole, Visio uses the correct paper size.
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
2. Right-click the HP DesignJet icon, and then click Properties on the
shortcut menu.

NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows NT, click
Printing Preferences, otherwise continue to the next step.
3. Click the Paper Size tab.
4. Click More Sizes.
5. Select one of the custom paper sizes next to Name.
6. Enter the custom paper size that you want.
7. Click OK to close each dialog box.
