I have 2007 Student and I really don't like the way it is not compatable with
my 2003 Outlook. I want word 2003 as my email editor and the only way way I
have been able to do this is to keep 2007 off my computer. I have left
Office 2003 on my Hard drive and I would like to reset the default to Word
2003. How can I do this?

Yes there really is a Kalamazoo

Well I have been able to set my 2003 word as default in outlook 2003 by
tools-options-mail format-check use Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages.
(Reboot) I hope it holds. Now when I start Word 2007 it wants to set up an
install, I stop it and it seems to run ok after that. Thankfully my word
2003 is now my e-mail manager. I need the auto correct that it gives me as I
e-mail in HTML and not in rich text or plain text. If anyone reads this and
has another suggestion, please chip in. I would like get rid of that
re-install threat everytime I go to use Word 2007. I think the newer program
is super, but I don't know why it was made non compatable with my default
e-mailer, (Outlook 2003).
