Setprops

can anyone advise how to quit setprops running. This
programme is now constantly running in the background and
slowing down my PC. It started after I asked Outlook
to 'detect and repair' any faults and will not stop, but
gives the message 'setprops failed with - 2147221226
(0x00000000). Any rational suggestions gratefully
accepted.
