Setting a filter on TASKS

I want to create a custom filter to show -
Overdue tasks (due date as past)
Tasks due this calendar week
Tasks with start date in this calendar week

In the filter window / Advanced, I have these settings -
Complete = no
Due date - on or before yesterday
Due date - in next 7 days
Start date - this week

This filter should produce a list longer than what it is - it seems to be
only showing those tasks with Start Date - This week.
