Dear Editor
After reading and watching the telivision reports about the British people
being the most unhealthy and obese with children being victims of the easy
available junk food. It makes me wonder how this and previous governments
have let its general public get into this trend. I can only come to the
conclusion that with the previous trends of tobacco and beer, the Junk food
corporations like Macdonalds and Burger King bring in a nice fat slice of
tax revenue.
Not That I am condeming these corporations as the British public have been
eating fish and chips in greasy batter for a lot longer. However I feel it
needs to bring in the trend of awareness and fitness to counter act the
calories that add to our waist lines.
