setting colors for pictures

I find at times that the colors of the pictures seen on the computer do not
match the colors of the picture printed. What can I do to resolve this? I
am using Windows XP, Version 2002

this is "normal". I once worked on a tool for Canon that "converts" on-screen
colors to the closest match for printing. You need to check with your
printer's manufacturer whether they have a similar tool...
