Setting, Creating a password option for switchboards.

I would like to set a password (which would or could run on a macro or
button) so that when you click on a particular button it would ask you for a
password. I am aiming to restrict access to certain areas of the database
without really going down the route of securing it fully.

I.e. I have a table, the first colum is a ref number. The second column
contains a password. On my switch board when they click on a button (or on a
form) it asks for a password based upon whichever form uses the ref number.
So form number one uses ref 1001. and requires the password for that ref
number (as contained in the table lookup.) Does that make sence?
