Setting Criteria - combobox

In the design view of building a query, I've inserted
[Which workstream?] for the criteria which brings up a
message box with a blank to fill in. Is there any simple
way to replace that "fill in the blank" box with a
combobox?

Create a form that resembles the message box and put a combobox on the form.
Reference the combobox in your criteria.
