setting criteria

Help!

I'm using access '97 to develop a project
Bottom line is
I have set up an attribute in a relation that reads in a
select list of names (combo box) from an Employees
relation, by specifying criteria [enter particular
password,that links to another relation]
I select the name I want and it works fine.

But when I come to using this in a form and I want to
print the form and use the File menu it asks for the
password again.
It works O.K. if I use a button attached to the form to
print.
Any ideas anyone?
