Setting Default Cost Rate Table

I would like to set the default cost rate table to be table b in a certain
project. Is there any way to do this?

I am using a resource pool that is used by other projects that use the Table
A rates. Is there an easier way to check that table b is being used than
checking the general tab of assignment information for each task? Is there a
column i could insert into a view maybe?

You can insert the Cost Rate Table field as a column in the tables at the
left of either the task usage or resource usage views. Then setting it for
one assignment line would let you drag the fill down to set it for the rest
of the column as well.
