Setting Default Custom Contact Forms

I have over 500 contacts in my outlook contacts folder, and now I created a
new contact form that I want to be applied to ALL EXISTING contacts already
in my folder. How can I do this?

To change existing items so that they display using a published custom message form, you need to change the value of the MessageClass property on each item so that it points to the published form's class, e.g. IPM.Contact.MyForm. Works fine from here. Maybe it was just one of those transient problems.
