Setting default duration to seconds

Is there a way to set the default duration to seconds? The smallest unit on the Options>Schedule tab is minutes.

PS: Right now I am pretending minutes are seconds. That seems just so kludgy.

Minutes is the smallest unit of time in Project. What are you scheduling?
