Setting Default Page Borders

Does anyone know how to set Page Borders to default to a
certain size away from the text? When I create a new
Word 2002 doc, I have to manually change the page border
options everytime I apply page borders.

I don't necessarily want to create a template. I can
certainly record a macro or write some code; however, it
just seems that there should be a way to set it by
default or have Word remember that last settings.

I can't imagine that Normal.dot would remember the settings for page borders
unless a page border were applied, and you definitely don't want to put a
page border in Normal.dot!
