I have a client who has offices in Canada, Australia and Singapore and
all are using Word 2003 on Windows XP Pro.
I have been asked by them to create a Normal template with certain
styles and other elements which will overwrite their existing one and
have created template plus a How-to document to show them what to do.
As I'm in the UK mine will always default to English UK unless I
synchronise my language and dictionary settings.
I have used Cindy Meister's superb guidance found here:
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/LangFmt.htm and I can make
myself "appear" in Canada, Australia and the UK. Everything works as
it should.
However, when setting the language I want to use through
Start>Programs>Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft
Office [version] Language Settings there is no setting there for
English (Singapore). Only the four mentioned above.
Yet the dictionary I can use in the template itself shows an English
(Singapore) version. Plus, at least, nine other variations.
Is there any way I can add English (Singapore) in the MS Office
[version] Language Settings dialog box mentioned above, please?
