Setting E-Mail Options

L

Lears

Hi -- newbie rube here that has read many of the previous postings but can't
seem to find help on this. Instructions I received from the FP200 SERK
download for e-mails options are:
1. In the console tree, right-click the root web for which you want to set
e-mail options.
2. Click Properties on the shortcut menu, and then click the Server
Extensions tab.
3. In the Options box, click Settings.
4. Enter the settings you want.
Problem is, I don't know what the H a "console tree" might be/where to find
one -- garage sale full of '70s stuff, maybe? I simply want to have e-mails
from our Contact Us page get to our "info@..." e-mail address. I've already
made the Form Properties settings but I have not published yet as I want to
make sure I've got the settings correct before doing so.
Thanks much!

Instructions are for Windows XP PRO and Windows 2003

For FP2002 extensions - the instructions are in the page for FP2002.
Repeat Default web site setup for all web sites using extensions and
email.

For FP2000 extensions:
Start->Control Panel->Administration Tools->Server Extensions
Administrator
If necessary, Expand the tree by clicking on + next to FrontPage
Server Extensions. If this is not visible, click on the toolbar
button "Show/Hide console tree"

Right click on web site (in XP Pro this is named /LM/W3SVC/1:) and
choose Properties
Click on Settings for "specify how email should be sent"
Then follow the website page at
