Setting email from GMail Apps in Outlook

Hello there,

I just created an email account using my private domain in Gmail Apps and
wanted to manage the account using Outlook. Is that possible? I used pop.(my
domain).com and smtp.(my domain).com...this could be totally wrong, but since
the ones for Gmail accounts were pop.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com I decided
to give it a shot.

Anyhow, I tested it and the error message said that the specified server was
found but that there was no response from the server.

Use the Gmail servers like a normal account but specify your full email
address as the username.

Thanks Robert, but it didn't work. I used pop.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com
instead of what I previously had and change my username to my complete email.
I've got the same error message where the servers are found but there's no
response from them. The message also says "Make sure that the port and SSL
info is correct"....greek to me. Can you help with that?

Actually you were right but there was a couple more things to do. In case

Correct, as you already had found the server names for the regular GMail
accounts, I thought you had found the additional SSL, TLS and port
configuration settings as well ;-)
