Setting for images as floating or inline

OK, having a senior moment here. (Shhh!) Where's the setting
in Word 2000 that lets you adjust the *default* inline-ness
(yes/no) for inserted images? I know I've seen it. Is it
only in Word 2002?

It's only in Word 2002, and it's on the Edit tab of Tools | Options. And
you're not old enough for senior moments. <g>

Hi Mark,

For Word97 or 2000 you can replace the default
Word command with the macros in this article
to set the default Layout choice for Insert=>Picture=>From File
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;157773 or
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;209944

This one sets the default paste option to inline
