Setting magnication option for entire document

Hi,

Is there a way that you can get all the pages in a Visio document to have
the same zoom magnification? For example, I have pages that are at 95%,
others at 73%, etc.. Do you have to do it page by page, or is there an option
that does this for the whole document?

Thank you

You could write a small VBA script that would get this done for you...

What I often do is Ctrl+W, which fits the whole page. It's easy to quickly
click on all the tabs and hit this keyboard shortcut. Hopefully your
document doesn't have 100 pages!

Hello Chris,

Hmm, I don't know how to write a VBA script, so I guess I'll have to do it
page by page. I'm actually a bit surprised there is no built-in functionality
for this.

As you've brought up the tabs, I'd like to ask another somewhat related
question. Is there another way of scrolling through the pages other than
clicking through the tabs at the bottom of the document? For example some
kind of right-click functionality that would show you all the pages in a list?

And no, my document does not have 100 pages, just 41... :) Which makes for
a lot of switching back and forth between the pages.

Thanks.

Solution to both of your problems!

Go to View > Drawing Explorer.

You can browse all the pages in this tree control just by hitting the down
arrow. And Ctrl+W will work without you having to click back into the page!

Hi Chris,

View > Drawing Eplorer is excellent, thanks! As for the Ctrl + W shortcut,
for some reason it doesn't seem to work on every page. Sometimes it resizes
the page to 100%, other times it doesn't resize the page at all. Is there a
reason it wouldn't resize a page? Also, is there a menu item for this
shortcut? If yes, what is it called?

Thanks.
