I am trying to create a template for our letterhead that can be used in
either Word 2003 or 2007. The problem is that our letterhead requires a wide
left margin (2.25 inches) but we don't want that to continue to other pages.
Is it possible to set up a template that automatically adjusts the margins
when the text flows to page 2 and beyond? Right now, the only way I can
figure out how to do this is to put a section break in the template with the
specs for p2 after the section break. The problem is that as one types, the
section break stays at the end of the text and page 2 ends up being formatted
just like page 1 (but without the header and footer).
When people cut the overflow text on page 2 to move it after the page break,
they invariably get the page break as well, and then end up with a mess and
become frustrated.
