Setting of the manager of the particular RBS level

Hi,
does anybody know, how to set a manager of a particular RBS level? E.g. I
have a 3-level RBS according to the organizational structure and I need to
set up a manager of the:
1) First level, ie. manager of the division
2) Second level, ie. manager of the subdivision
3) Third level, ie. manager of the team.

This manager can approve timesheets, etc. - BUT always only for his RBS
level (manager of a team can approve tasks only to his team, but not another;
manager of the subdivision can approve tasks for all teams in his
subdivision, etc.

First of all, I see several flaws in the process you describe:

1. It looks like you seek a 3-level timesheet approval process. Project
Server does not offer this. Basically, what Project Server can do is allow
the team managers to approve the timesheets for the team members below them
in the RBS outline code structure. If this is not acceptable, you can skip
the rest of my message, since you won't be able to do what you want with
Project Server.

2. You are missing one level in your RBS outline code. You need to add a
4th level for team members below each team manager.

If you are still reading this message, you will need to begin by setting the
RBS value for each human resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool. To do
so, open the Enterprise Resource Pool and check out all of the resources.
Set the RBS value for division managers to level 1, for subdivision managers
to RBS level 2, for team managers to RBS level 3, and for team members to
RBS level 4. When you specify the RBS levels for everyone in the Enterprise
Resource Pool, you are showing Project Server "who reports to whom" in the
organization.

In addition to the above process, you will also need to enable the Managed
Time Periods feature and the Timesheet Approval feature in Project Server.
To perform the timesheet approval processou will also need to add your team
managers to the Resource Managers group. Hope this helps.
