Setting Office toolbar to English

C

Chris K.

I recently purchase an Office 2003 Thai version.
It comes with a Thai menus and toolboxes.
Is there a way to change all the menus and toolboxes into English?
All the books I have on MS Office refer to English menus and I've used
English menus ever since my MS Window v.3.0 so I really prefer English menus
over Thai menus.

With Office XP came an English language pack. Is there one available for
Office 2003?

Can anyone help me please!

You should have purchased an English version of Office 2003
if you wanted an English interface.

I need the Thai fonts and spell check enabled but need the English menu as
all books I have on Office have English menu displayed.

The earlier version I purchased from Microsoft was Office XP Thai Version
and it had BOTH Thai language AND English menu. I was under the impression
that it would be the same with the Office 2003 Thai Version.

Please help answer the question of how to set the tool bar to English.

Thank you.

Hi Chris,

The localized Thai edition of Office 2003 is one of nine
localized editions that have some bilingual capability in
including limited English language support in the menus.

If you go to Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office Tools
and use the Microsoft Office 2003 Language Settings Tool
does the choice for the 'Language that sets default behavior'
include a choice for English?

Hi Bob,

You see that's why I want to change the language! I don't know which of the
choices is "Language that sets default behavior"! But none of the Language
setting tools has English except enabled language.

Thanks and hope more suggestions will keep coming!

Hi Chris,

This problem happen because u can't read thai.

Click Start->Programs->Microsoft Office->Microsoft Office Tools
Click at Icon that show "World behind big 'A' (Capital Letter)" after Icon
they typed in Thai "à¸à¸²à¸£à¸•à¸±à¹‰à¸‡à¸„่าภาษา Microsoft Office 2003"

After they shown and you want to change 'Language that sets default
behavior'. It is the combo box lay vertically at the bottom. Choose "อังà¸à¸¤à¸©
(สหรัà¸à¸à¹€à¸¡à¸£à¸´à¸à¸²)" if u want to choose "English (U.S.) and click O.K. (ตà¸à¸¥à¸‡)

After close all office application and reopen them, if it is still in Thai.

Go to download at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...1c-5be8-476d-b439-196412223cda&displaylang=en

choose "CD6" for Thai. and update them

Jessie.
