setting position of a picture in word 2000

Word 97 had a "position" tab for pictures so that you could type in the
exact position of the picture (or frame or text box . . .). But I can't
find it in Word 2000. When I right click the picture and click "format
picture" I only have tabs for "colors and lines", "size", "layout", "text
box" (which is disabled) and "web". Where the heck did they put the
"position" information!!!???????

Try right clicking on the picture; select "Format Object",
then the "Layout" tab at the top. Select "Inline with
Text" and OK. Then use the Centering icon at the top of
the page to center the graphic on your page.

Good luck!
