setting the heirarchy of pages

I'd like to have a way to set a 'default' option that positions a new page or
sub-page to the top of the page tabs as opposed to the bottom. That way, my
newest entries are on top and my oldest entries are below.

This has been asked for rather often.
It has probably be posted already "Connect", the place for submitting
suggestions and bug reports to the developers team:

But would nit hurt would you there and search for checking it it's
already on the list. If so, vote for it.
If not, please enter the suggestion.
