setting the tracking (read/receipt) for all emails in Outlook

Hello, recenlty an upgrade was done in my work computer which changed my
options in Outlook for the global tracking of emails through the delivery
receipt and read receipt options, so now I cannot click or check those
functions as they are greyed out. How can I get these options back? Is
there a 'fix" for this or do I need to re-install the software. Or, is there
a download on the Microsoft website that will help me with this? I do not
want to have to go into options and select these options on each and every
email. Thanks, Shelley
