setting up a database?

I'm a newbie to this list.

Where can I find online or help menu instructions for exporting an Excel
spreadsheet to create a database, like the old MS Access program did? I want
to serve the db online with PHP.

Running MS Office X on a PowerBook G4 Titanium with OS X 10.3.2.

Hi Andy,

A worksheet within a workbook can be saved as a data table in a variety
of formts (dif, csv, dbf). From Excel's File menu choose Save As then
in the dialog box choose the file type you prefer.
