In InfoPath, how can I set a field with radio buttons that allows the user to
chose more than one option (or radio button)?

I normally use the Multiple-Selection List Box, which does what I think
that you are looking for.

Thank you Michael for your response. I tried to find the "Multiple-Selection
List Box" in the list of controls and could not see it. I tried setting up a
"lsit box" (which I do have available) and it does not provide the function I
need. I also searched the "help" section with the string "Multiple-Selection
List Box" and did not produce any direct results... If you know something
else that I don't know, I will appreciate your suggestions.
Thank you!

Hi,
“Multiselection List box†control is not displayed in the InfoPath 2003.
This is the new feature added in the InfoPath2007. If you want to choose more
than one option in the radio buttons. You can use Check boxes other than
Radio buttons.

Thanks

Thank you Anuma. The version clarifies that question. However, I would still
like to explore the possibilities of applying multiple choices to one
section, rather than having to setup multiple checkboxes, each with a number
field and so on. I believe there is also another way of getting to the same
effect, and that is a pull down menu in which people could select more than
one listed item by pressing the Shift key while making the selection... Any
lead in that direction would be helpful too!

Thanks again!

There is an ActiveX control available from InfoPathDev.com

Also multi-select is available in InfoPath 2007.

Greg, thank you for the information and sorry to reply after two weeks...
holidays were good:)
Now however, I am back at my desk and trying to figure out the problem of
multiple choice questions. I visited the sites you recommended and installed
the Office Service Pack 2, however I still don't see a difference.
You mentioned in your note the existance of an "Active X control" for
infoPath, is this a stand-alone download, or it comes with the SP2?... and if
it comes with the SP2, is there a way to know how to access it, or how to
make it work?

Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you very much.
