Setting Up a New Server

G

Glenn

Hi,

I have a new Windows 2003 server. I've installed the front page extensions
on it.

From the web, I can go to www.mydomain.com and I get the Under Construction
message.

However, if I'm in Front Page and I try to open http://www.mydomain.com
nothing happens.

When I'm at the server itself, logged on as the Administrator, and I try to
check the server extensions I get an error message telling me :

a.. If you have another user account with a higher level of permission,

What am I doing wrong?

Is this on your own machine, or is it a remote server hosting account with a
web presence provider??

If remote, the hosting company most likely doesn't want you to have access.

It's my own machine. I could do it on the old one without a problem. I
remember there was a trick to setting it up, I just can't remember what the
trick was!
