One of my users, has recently purchased a new laptop. It is running
Windows Vista Business. I have installed Office 2007. I am now
trying to get his e-mail setup. The e-mail is in Exchange Server
2007.
I went through the normal process of setting up the e-mail. I told it
his Name, and his e-mail address. It asked for the server name, and
then i clicked check name. After 2 or 3 minutes it came back showing
that it found the account. It said to click finish to finish the
setup. Then an infinite loop has started.
1. Do you want the system to automate your logon to Microsoft
Outlook? i click yes
2. Do you want the system to automate your logon to Microsoft
Outlook? I click yes
3. Do you want the system to automate your logon to Microsoft
Outlook? I click NO
4. I then have to key his password. I click OK
5. Do you want the system to remember the credentials you entered for
Microsoft Outlook? I click yes.
OH LOOK...
I'm back at "Do you want the system to automate your logon to
Microsoft Outlook?
I can't get his e-mail setup because I can't get past this. And I am
very frustrated by now too.
ARGH!!!!
Please can anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks,
Scott
