Setting up Excel & an XML document so data can b pulled into Flash

was wondering if this was possible and what would i need to do... i have a
sports website ... actually a league standing's flash movie clip to be
exact... i have an excel spreadsheet that i have programmed to automatically
calculate won / loss records and percentage as well as team rankings... i'd
ike to be able to update the excel document and have the xml file updated
accordingly; so, the flash movie clip could then pull in the updated info...
