Setting up galaries and placeholders

SklpII

I am trying to set up a "gallery" of PowerPoint templates for a clients --
something where when they develop a presentation, they can go to Design
Templates and see a folder with their company templates -- title slide,
probably 3-4 other choices for slides (different colors, etc. )

Also, I want to set up areas on the different slide masters for text they
can type in with the font pre-selected (like the placeholder text in the
title section of most slides).

Finally, I have seen it where you can constrain the color palette that is
available to them when they create and color an object -- to keep them within
a set of selected brand colors.

I can't see anyhting on this topic and yet I have seen it done.

Can anyone help?

Most if not all of what you want to do can be done by automating PowerPoint.
It's not stuff that PPT does "out of the box", and writing the code to do the
automation is a fairly large undertaking.

We have an add-in that does most of what you're after, but it only runs under
Windows versions of PPT. If that'd help, give me a shout ... steve at-sign
