Setting up Outlook 2007 or 2003

Davese

I have an issue where I have an exchange server in house getting PO
mail from the ISP, my outlook retrieves this mail from the exchang
server, my issue is I need to send mail from Outlook as well and th
ISP does not allow relaying (of course) so my question is can I setu
Outlook to connect to the exchange server to receive mail and use th
ISP pop smtp server to send mail. All with one profile or at leas
where the users do not have to log off? I cannot setup the exchang
server to be outside. And Exchange server is needed for a cas
management software package that integrates with Outlook, calendar
mail etc.

Thank

You can configure your Exchange server to use the SMTP server as a smart
host.
Otherwise, you can still set up a POP3 account in Outlook with the SMTP
server settings of your ISP and configure Outlook not to receive for this
account.
Then you can use the Accounts button near the send button to change the
sending account if needed.
