setting up properties in Custom Properties Sets in Visio 2003

Select the shape
menu Windows -> Show Shapesheet
in the Custom Properties section each property has a SortKey value,
just mark the 1, 2, 3 etc for the order you want.

Quick response, great help. just a reminder that the sort key column should
be set for 'formula' for this to work.

Paul, i replied too quickly. Once you have set the sortkey, how do you save
it? when i exit the ShapeSheet, the sortkey column resets to "No Formula".

I assume you are pressing enter after typing the value. If so and the
values are still not sticking then what diagram type is it and what
shapes?
