setting up security

Hi

I have a database which I would like to have a password to open it and allow
changes, but also want others to be able to open it as readonly. I tried to
follow set up under tools but im so confused. please help

Access user security is not to be taken lightly, so read very
carefully and thoroughly, practice on a COPY of your database, and
don't skip any steps in the process.
