Hi, currently havea form called job's with customer details on the front that
run off a customer number, so on the front page when i click on adda new job
it gets a new record on that job form as well as pop up a form to enter new
customer details. The problem is that when i enter these new customer details
and click add ( which runs a macro that sets the value in the job form to the
relevant customer number just created and closes that cust edit form) it puts
the new customer number in the job file but doesnt update the name etc, UNTIL
i click edit cust on the job and it comes up with the same cust screen, i
click ok again to readd it to the job as it were and it all comes up. It all
works fine its just annoying having to type details in, click, add edit then
add again, what have i missed out? what am i doing wrong?!

Bilbo,

I am not 100% clear about what you have there with the Jobs form. But
in the macro that transfers the new Customer Number across, you could
try adding a Requery action to requery the Jobs form.
