Setup canot find setup.exe

I've seen a couple threads where others have encountered this message during
Office 2007 installation. To recap the issue Setup starts from the
installation CD, Requests the product key, allows customization of the
install parameters and then works for a few minutes then stops with a dialog
box that says "Setup canot find setup.exe please browse to a valid location"
Selecting the CD drive where setup started from only repeats the error. Has
anyone come up with a solution?

Not sure why this worked but rebooting my Vista computer solved the problem.
