I want to add new stationery to my Outlook 2003. They are Win32 Cabinet
Self-Extractor files. I have the files downloaded but when I click to run
them the following popup occurs:
Setup Error:
Setup has detected that you do not have an Office 2000 family product
installed on this machine. Before this download can be installed you must
first install an Office 2000 family product. To find out which products are
part of the Office 2000 family, go to
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/info/o2kprods.htm.
I went to that location but nothing there indicates what "family product" I
need. I've got a new machine with all my updates except the newest one to
Office. I don't want to install that one because everyone is having trouble
with it and it will take more than two hours to download on my dialup.
Besides before this newest Office update was available, I still couldn't open
the new stationery!
Can you tell me what "office 2000 family product" I need?
One thing I should mention. I didn't download these stationery files using
Outlook, through the "pick stationery" menu option, but went directly to the
MS site and downloaded it that way. I'm wondering if that made the
difference in being unable to "run" this stationery. Thanks for your help!
