Setup Errors

Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):
The 2007 Microsoft Office System does not support upgrading from a
prerelease of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first uninstall any
versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system products and associated
technologies. Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run setup.

I have already uninstalled the Beta release. There must be some residual
information on computer.

In Windows explorer navigate to c:\windows\installer folder (the path might
be different depending on what is your system drive and OS). Right-click the
header row and choose "More" from the menu. Check the box against "Subject".
Sort by Subject in Explorer and check if any of the *.msi files belong to
Office2007. Right-click each such MSI and choose to uninstall.

Disclamer: this folder contains caches for all apps that you installed on
your machine using Windows Installer, if you uninstall "extra" stuff things
might become extremely broken... But I can see you are a brave soul given
you've dared to tackle the registry :)
