setup problem installing Office 2003

I'm installing a new version of Office 2003 (upgrading
from Occife 97) and on run keep getting message "business
contact manager for outlook 2003 setup error" which says
I have to install Outlook 2003 before I install the full
Office 2003 (which includes the Outlook 2003). ANy
suggestions on getting past this roadblock or Do I have
to purchase Outlook separatly to install it bfore
installing the rest of office?
