I have two desktops. I want to be able to work with some ON notebooks from
both machines. We have a SBS Server. Created folder on the server copied a
One Note folder from one desktop to that server drive.
I connected to that folder from both of my machines. I tested it to make
sure it would work using syncing. That did not work. At one machine I added
a section to the folder on the file server. I can see that from the machine
on which I created it. I see no indication that it is saving to the desktop
drive.
I can not see it from on the other desktop which also does not appear to
have the ON folder on the C drive.
Following the instructions about sharing in the One Note help file my
Admin....made sure the rights were set at the server, even moved it to a
different server drive, sharing that folder. He set a drive letter to that
location. When I go to that drive letter, I can get to that drive but when I
click on my folder it indicates that it is not accessible.
We can find no documents giving a clue as to where the problem may be located.
Help please. Thanks
