I will set the margins for a report and they will work for
awhile then they set back to the default 1" values. I am
not sure why any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well known (highly posted) bug in Access 2000.

Fix is to install service packs.

Work-around is to turn off Name-Autocorrect.
