new computer - aspire 1, win XP, HOW to load new student teacher office 2003
to the new blackarmor 320GB external encrypted hard drive? office only seems
to install to the C drive but no way to get to onboard storage without using
USB.
when try to install using the desktop i can only install to the C drive of
that machine and no option to install to the external hard drive.
i've been limiting my productivity programs to MS but is MS trying to tell
me to use a program from someone else?

You can't install to an external drive.

You should have continued in your origonal thread

Select Custom install and the select the Path, if your external is not seen
then you need to address that issue first. Even if you install to external
many files will still install to C
Are you not able to install to C, then configure data to the external?
Does your your sys have the internal 8gb drive or?

Another issue, you mention Business, but then are using H&S which is not
licensed for business use
