Setvalue in a Subform

I have a main form with a subform that I created. I use setvalue in several places in the subform to fill values. If I open only the subform, all the macros that run setform work just fine. If I open the main form, with the subform, I get errors ("Action Failed") trying to run the setvalue macros in the subform. What could be the problem??
