Several contact manager questions

Good afternoon! I work for a company that's been using ACT! 2007 for some
time now and are currently shopping around for a new contact management
system. We've been investigating and have come up with the following
questions:

can we have differently named databases/contact lists on the server that are
shared?
Can you do a mass printing of labels for mailing?
Can you sort/organize/filter things by contact, company, etc.?
When a new contact from a company that's already within the system has been
entered, does it automatically link to that company?
What search options are available (contact, company, first/last name, etc.)
Can you back things up for restoration at a later date?
Is there any way possible to import information (such as databases) from ACT?
