Several OLAP cubes

Is it possible to create several OLAP Cubes (one for each year for exemple)
with automatique calculation?

Hi Robert,
You can have as many cubes as you want, but the UI only allows for the
creation of one at a time, so this isn't possible without writing your own
custom code.

So what is the use of the "Analysis Services Database to be created:" text
zone we can find in both the Cube Build Settings page and in the Analysis
Services Settings section of the Edit/New View page? (Data Analysis view)

As Project Server is a multi-tenanted application, it would be possible to
have multiple instances using the same AS server. It is therefore required
to be able to specify of each cube {particular to each instance}.

So Paul, it is not possible to compare different cubes : one for 2007 ; on
for 2008.... ?

You could create a new cube at the beginning of each year and use reporting
services to query across each cube. You'd have to change your reports each
year to accommodate the extra data source.
