Several Word 2007 problems

I have a new computer system with Vista Ultimate as the OS, and Office 2007
Professional as the office suite. Word has been problematic for me.
1) When I try to import delivery addresses into the print envelope/label
section from Outlook 2007 (Mailing-Envelope/Label-Delivery Address - Insert
Address), Word stops working. This happens about 99% of the time.
2) Word keeps asking me to choose a profile when clicking on the address
book icon(Mailing-Envelope/Label-Delivery Address - Insert Address), even
though the Outlook profile has been set as default.
3)When it does accept a delivery address, and I go to print, the printer
comes back with a paper out or an incorrect output tray position error. This
is a current printer with Vista 32 bit drivers that seems to work fine for
every other program in the Office suite, even Word, just not the envelopes or
labels.
I have run Office diagnostics and there were no issues.
Thanx in advance.

So far, problem number 3 has been resolved. Changed "manual" feed to "sheet"
feed and printer works now. Also updated the driver for the printer.
Items 1 and 2 still remain. I have emptied Temp folders all over the place
and diagnostics was run again and detects no errors.

Ed,

I just joined Microsoft discussions and read your post. I have had the same
issues with Word 2007 and Outlook 2007 as you describe since February. Before
I moved to Vista Business and Office 2007, I used Windows 2000 and Office
2000 for years to print envelopes without any problems.
Other than this issue, Vista and Office 2007 are working perfectly for me.
Wish I could offer a fix, but I have not found one. My work around is to cut
and paste the name and address from Outlook 2007 to the envelope dialog box
in Word 2007. If I try to select directly from my contact list in Outlook,
Word will crash most (but not all) the time.

Regards,

Mike M.
