SHADING BLOCKS OF TIME IN GANTT CHARTS

i am interested in these threads that have been previously posted, as i have
been posed a question.. how can i show three different colured peroids on the
same plan i.e june to Oct, - Oct to Feb, - Feb to dec

All of these are working peroids - i would prefer not to to use Power Point
...but ..

Hello Andy,

I'm afraid short of drawing a rectangle covering the portions of the
Gantt chart and changing the fill colors, you are going to have to
resort to PowerPoint. You can use the non-working time shading,
however you can only apply one color at a time, so that option will
not suit your requirement for 3 different colors.

I don't have my copy at hand to check, but the 3rd party program
Milestones is built for making "pretty" project plans and it might have
that capability.
